Howdy y'all.

So, I'm not sure how many people read my journal. I'm guessing about a few, but said few I usually keep in contact with a lot. So anyway, I'm writing this journal as a formal farewell to art. I'm not happy with my ideas. Never been happy with my art or style or direction for years now. I enjoy art in and of itself. I love creativity and seeing all the great ideas that float around here. But it would appear my own creativity is not quite good. Heck, I'd say it sucks if it wasn't for other people's encouragement from time to time. It's never been what I wanted it to be. It's more frustrating than anything so I tossed out all my characters n' stories (again) and this time I'm just hanging up the pencil for good. I've put too much emphasis on it and have made it an idol in my life rather than a hobby or a technique of expression. This is not a "BAWWW!!! WOE IS MEH!!" article. This is just me hitting the wall too many times and quite frankly I got tired of it. I'll keep my DA page up cuz I've made some wonderful friends here and, as I said before, I luff art. I enjoy seeing the creativity and offering a bit of critique or encouragement wherever I can. Plus my gallery has some gift arts for a few of my watchers and they'd prolly kill me if it were erased. XD. Well, that's it. Thanks for taking time to read this long journal. Sorry to anyone who would've liked some artz from me or would have like to have seen my ideas. Who knows if some day I might come back to it. Don't know, and honestly, I'm fine if I don't. Later!
